Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios have announced that Mortal Kombat has officially gone gold for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will launch on April 19 in North America and April 21 in Europe. You can find below five new screens.

I dunno.. i cant really imagine playing a beat'em up, or a sports game for that matter, on the restraints pc's offer in most house holds. I'd want a couch and mates next to me - the way a game like this surely has to be played?
Game is awesome, 60fps makes a huge difference..it feels so fluid. And i did get a nostalgia trip when playing the demo. Still no 360 demo though!! I'd really want to try it on the 360 as this is one of the few games that i felt really suited the ps3 D-pad.

I was tempted to get a 3DTV for this game. While titles like Crysis 2 and some PS3 games seem to be pushing 3D, the price and the glasses are too annoying even with the added MK factor (For now at least).
