I know they improve vastly on the scenarios and complexity of them with each game, but the downgrading of the vehicles is still dissapointing.

I personally feel that the vehicles have been given an upgrade. At least in terms of what we have been shown. I mean this from both a technical standard as well as aesthetically. The only aspect that I wish were made more over-the-top are the crashes.

It's an arcade racer! Rubberband AI will be in full effect.

DO WANT!

the stuff they've added is just rediculous compared to the last 2 main games. i didnt think perks would work in a racer, but it seems like a nice addition. betting on races sounds like a great addition too, lets you "win" even when you dont technically win. vehicle customisation was a must from the very begining, set liveries where fine, but to be able to colour and customise just makes it all the more personal, especially to differentiate yourself in the online space.

considering it's all set in a city now, the track variety seems WAY more...well, varied then the last ones too. and now there are even more unique vehicles to chose from...

and most imporatantly, it has split screen (most racers dont even let you do this) it's split screen online, and it's 3D. couldnt ask for much more in a motorstorm title tbh.

day one. and not long to wait either.

Looks pretty fun! I didn't think I would like the urban setting as much as the jungle/desert, but it looks like they did a good job making the environments interactive and dynamic. They NEED to include a replay mode this time though! It always pissed me off that i couldn't go back and watch the crazy races I just completed in the first 2 games.

Game keeps looking better and better. Hated the City at first for this franchise but the more I see the more I'm starting to think it might work out ok. I really had a lot of fun with the first two games so i'm certainly looking forward to this game as well. Easily Sony's most underrated franchise IMO.
