Yup, it does in still shots. Too bad it looks disappointing in motion from gameplay videos thanks to the awful physics they seem to be stuck on for this game. Hopefully they'll release a demo for it. Maybe there'll be some options to adjust for the control.

why in the 5th pic is 'The Standard' logo upside down? Besides that, I'm interested save for the dodgy handling vids I've seen of late.

I'm not sure how good this will be gameplay wise, but atleast the city looks detailed and it really seems to live and breath -- something I can't say about Paradise City in Burnout Paradise, wich I found very flat, colourless and overall boring...=)

Hope this game will be good, but I totaly agree with ASURAshadow, in motion it didn't look too good...

Doesn't look dirty enough to be L.A.

The Standard's logo is upside down in real life.

Not all parts of LA are dirty.

It looks to me like they've done a great job of representing the city.

I'm really looking forward to this game and hoping that it makes up for the slight disappointment that was Burnout Paradise. The graphics look very nice too although they're obviously not as good as those earlier PR shots that were released; no surprise there really! I've had the game pre-ordered for months... I figured this would probably be better than EA's new Need for Speed game (I thought ProStreet was competent but spectacularly dull to play).

Are you really judging the upcoming NFS:Undercover on Prostreet? Undercover is modeled almost exactly like NFS: Most Wanted and nothing like Prostreet. Anyway, I hope at least one of these will be good because like you said, Burnout Paradise was definitely disappointing.
