LOL @ shot #3, beyond the clipping it looks like there is a big chunk taken out of his arm. Other than that, it looks as good as any other NBA game EA has made the past couple of years.
Are all you people blinded by these silly EA vs 2K, "my games better than your game" arguments? Because they both, Live and 2K look pretty similar and not very spectacular. And I doubt there is going to be much more to these games than there was to last years... or the year before.
I have been entertained by both Live and 2K games in the past, but neither has ever blown me away...
The real beauty is in motion. These guys have NAILED animation transitions and cloth/ muscle simulation( for real time anyway). I would love to see these guys make an action/ adventure game...
My big problem with these screens are the dead eyes and blank expressions of the players. I don't know, it just creeps me out. Every year they keep improving the visuals, but the facial animation just seems to get worse. Maybe I just need to see it in motion, but damn those screens are creepy :o
