Namco Bandai has published some new screens of Ace Combat Assault Horizon showing off Su-47 Berkut, Su-34 Fullback, MiG-21 bis and MiG-29A Fulcrum.

Anyway I haven't played a AC game in a while and I am a huge fan, day 1 purchase for me.
If they were to make a sim style option where you actually had to take off and land, and had challenges like landing on a moving carrier, I would be all over it. I could spend days just practicing carrier landings on games like IL-2 and Pacific Fighters. The physics in games like those make them infinitely replayable. I doubt AC will ever be anything more than an arcadey shootem-up though.
If you want a flight sim, play a flight sim. Let AC be AC, in all its simplistic, arcadey action glory.

BTW, Project Aces themselves describe the series as "hybrid arcade and simulation experience", so I don't think adding a bit of depth for those of us who might want it would hurt you in any way. Obviously you would be able to skip the parts like landings that aren't arcade-y enough for you...
