After yesterday's announcement Fallout is already back with a few images that you will find inside. There are some rumors claiming that Bethesda's new RPG might be released later this year, but we'll have to wait until E3 to know if it's true.

Alot of people saying the graphics are a bit disappointing, me included. But looking at some of them screens, I love the light coming from the sun in that shot under the highway. I hope the light and shadows are given attention. I also JUST realised now that the camera is inside a house at the start of the trailer and you can actually see outside at the same time so they must have blended interiors and the exterior game world completely now which is SWEET.
Now hopefully there won't be a massive difference between this and the finished product :S

Did anybody figure out who does the voice of the male version lead yet? I know who it is :)

I know it doesn't have the best graphics in the world, but I played vanilla Skyrim (with absolutely no mods) for over 250 hours and had an extreme amount of fun with it. And these graphics look better than Skyrim already.

But for those who truly need/want better graphics, they can always wait a year for mods, high resolution textures, specific shaders and make .ini configuration tweaks.

Plus at that point, the game will be considerably cheaper, have a few story DLCs released and will have thousands of mods (not only graphical, but of all types). Can't wait for the vault.

Oh snap, you got a good point there. That would mean we finally got rid of the loading times whenever entering a buiding after all. That i would really like.

I do recall in F3 that we were able to look out the window and see the environment though......

i REALLY hope they've incorporated some sort of stat variation in weapons and armour this time around. that has always annoyed me in bathesda RPG's. they let you get the "best" of something and the moment you get the best of something it makes looking for other stuff redundant. some stat variation would make finding the "same" set of leather mad max armour at least a little bit worth while since it might have an armour bonus or something.

in these vast worlds you need to keep people wanting to explore them, becasue for me the act of just walking around isn't enough. i want rewarding for my actions. as much as i loved fallout 3, it became a check list RPG like skyrim too. once i found some power armour and the lincoln repeater. i didn't need anything else. i was litterally exploring caves for the sake of ticking them off the map. unless of course there was some quest that lead you there in which case there was usually some narrative to go with it. like the vaults.

I don't think so now, think back. If you were in Moira's house, for example (a house you are in ALOT in the game), you can't actually see outside it anywhere. There are bits of white light coming in from outside but that is just a cheap effect. The same with a cave entrance in the game, it just has a bit of a light effect at the exit.

You're wrong, these images look the same as the trailer. These images were most likely even captured from the trailer!

For proof, check the images below. Where I posted the links to the images I captured - using MPC-HC (Media Player Classic - Home Cinema) - and posted in one of my comments in the Fallout 4 trailer news and these official images. You will see that they show the same quality.

Before seeing image 9 here, I was even wondering if Gamersyde used my images - not that I would mind if they did. But of course, Gamersyde didn't.

They look almost the same because Bethesda's PR team probably took them from the same trailer. A lot of official images of a lot of games are taken from official videos instead of in-engine/in-game.

Comparison below (official images on top and my images below):

I really don't get this assumption that a lot of people here are having lately that all developers are "bullshotting" everything, which I've seen in the latest news articles in here. I know the whole CD Projekt RED debacle has probably made a lot of people cynical, but it feels like people are seeing things where they don't even exist.

Though, it's understandable that the more companies mislead or lie to customers, the more wary they become of more companies in the industry doing the same.

Proof? Xoar doesn't want anything like that, just to scream shenanigans with nothing to back it up with, like you clearly did, back up your claims that is. :)

Game looks awesome...only thing i'm not sure about is that it looks like they're giving a voice to your character.

Fallout 3 is in my top 3 games of last gen. I really can't wait for this...be great if it hits this year, and hits working and polished!

This is my main problem with games coming out now is they show loads of good lighting in to hide the fact the games look crappy graphics wise, specially textures

To be fair, it's difficult, artistically, to really make a world that is supposed to be drab and empty look pretty. Where this game should excel is in it's lighting and post effects, and from those screens it looks like that's the case. Still, it can't excuse some of the more shoddy elements like the models and some of the mapping.
