Images PC Xbox 360 PS3

Even though the first game never made it to our consoles, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is nonetheless one of the highly-anticipated titles that 360 and PS3 owners are eagerly waiting for. Today's images won't make the wait any easier but they at least confirm that the game will look great.

Nice character models, bit too heavy on the depth of field, though. Granted only on those cut-scene screens. Great looking game overall, can't wait to see some footage. Also, boobs.

Well the makers are Polish...and polacks aren't known for magnificent sense of style tbh.

Nice little engine they've got there. Can't wait to play this on the 360 - although I never played the first one, so I have no idea whether I'll be able to understand the story or not.

Well, i didn't want to offend you, but clearly i did, and for that i am truly sorry. And i have to disagree with you: the style of Witcher isn't representing a realistic look of the medieval ages at all, it's heavily stylized and frankly it looks silly to me.

So please, don't take it so personally.

Haha, very funny!

There is a difference between looking 'like shit' and not looking quite as good as the PC version, though. I don't expect it to look as pretty as it does in these screenshots, but I do expect it to be a gorgeous looking game on consoles as well.

But you're right: how it will play on consoles is a much more valid concern.

Console. Going by the track record of east-europe devs, the X360 is the only version up to the task of porting it with ease. And the first witcher console version was scrapped, so we await.
