Is it just me or has the graphics become a lot more cartoony like Borderlands since.

Aslong as gameplay (like hitdetection etc) is a lot better then in say BC2, I'm happy.. I hate how you have to hit others in BC2 way to many times before they die, it just doesn't feel right.. Knowing it's ID, I have no worries though..

To be blunt: Maybe you're just bad at the game? There is nothing wrong with BC2's hit detection.

Hit detection in BFBC2 is fine. And talking of I.D, the hit detection in Q3 was never spot on, i know i've been playing it since release.

There are way to many factors involving online play anyway, ping,packets,hops, Maybe even skips and jumps. Who knows:)


Also in BFBC2, while shooting someone, another person gets the kill, or kills you. Different weapons have different range,power etc.

But i like the look of this.

No way these are XBox 360 shots! More likely to be PC! But I love what I see, even though it looks so clean!

To be blunt: Maybe you're just bad at the game? There is nothing wrong with BC2's hit detection.
Sometimes I get the impression that you are some kind of elite gamer. I study your comments, and usually you have a response to just about every comment that voices a slight opinion. I admire your comments very much, but they have a certain arrogance to them. You seem to have positive things to say about almost every game that's previewed. Are you easy to please? Maybe the rest of us gamers have become shallow and need to fairly judge a game. I am by no means insulting you. I just wonder what games do you not like since you voice your opinions so confidently. By the way, is your avatar Erica Badu? I'm a fan.

This game will never be released. It'll be used as a carrot on a stick till the end of days while Carmack has the occasional presentation...

i thought that too. it almost has an outline around the objects and enemies. still like the look of it, but it doesnt look to be the graphical powerhouse it was made out to be. even thier uber texture technology doesnt look like it's producing that great texture res. gameplay i'm not interested either really. waiting for doom 4 for my ID fix.

agreed 100% doom 4 ftw. :) i had a nagging feeling that rage might underdeliver, and so far it seems that way.
i may get it when it's cheap on steam. or if it has a huge community like l4d(which i doubt).

Looks like a fun world to explore. lots of little nooks and crannies to get lost in. Lets hope the console versions actually look this good.

Absolutely state of the art both technically and artistically. This is what you get when you have the world's best engine coders working with the world's best in game modellers. And 60fps too.... just outstanding.

shame it got pushed back to next year..although it was pretty much a given. They've recently been demoing it on the 360..so they must be confident in the tech. Could end up cutting crysis 2's rain short as the self confessed "prettiest console game"

Not so impressive in screen shots but if this really is running at 60fps and I remember hearing the engine was doing on both 360 and ps3, it should looking amazing in motion
