Bethesda is obviously present at this 2010 edition of QuakeCon with their games, so here are 4 new screens of Fallout New Vegas where you can see new locations and some characters you'll meet in the Mojave Wasteland.
Looks good likes. Hopefully more of the same, if it ain't broke don't think fix it lol. Although it's not the fallout guys doing it but the foundations are there for them to use
I don't like the fact that the barn in the background of the last shot looks to be the EXACT same barn as in Fallout 3. Re-using some textures and other assets is one thing, but an entire building is another.

So what... they can't make a barn in Fallout again? I mean, jesus christ, it's just a barn, who cares if they remake it or use F3 assets.
I'd much rather they use F3 assets and focus on making the game as smooth and bug free as possible.
this sufferes from bioshock 2-itus for me. just far TOO similar to the last game, namely in terms of the general look and setting (and weapons and enemies, and assets) i dont think i'll bother with fallout untill they do a what bioshock infinte is doing. new setting, new assets, new engine, new game. a REAL sequel.

Gamebryo has always looked old, and was too buggy.
Oblivion looks bloody awesome when it came out, so that's hardly true. Buggy though, i can agree with that, but don't you think Bethesda are partly responsible for that as well? At least I don't know how many of the bugs are created by the engine itself or code by bethesda programmers :P

I think that it is getting very safe to say that for Fallout 4 (and for that matter, Elder Scrolls V), that Gamebryo is out, and id Tech 5 is in.
