At least these look like actual in-game shots. Its more probable that these are from the 360 or ps3 version. PC version will probably scale better. Although these are compressed web images so i bet it would look better in motion and you wouldn't notice the flaws as much.
I must say these are brilliant car models, i've never seen a ford GT rendered better than that.
Hmm, NFS has the best graphics on the market imho but I'll keep my fingers crossed they'll make the gameplay interesting. They were kinda failing with it so far. Might as well play Midnight Club LA, Burnout Paradise or NFS Undercover.
these chase games always sound good but never really play out well. Maybe as a cop you'll earn "tag streaks"...so like hitting them once with your car will get you to call in a chopper to keep track of them, twice gets you to call for a stinger placed ahead ect... rather than relying on just smashing into the car untill it stops
I hope the crashes are more than just the roll one we've been seeing in previews thus far.
They won't be anything close to the crumpled and accordioned mayhem of Burnout with licensed cars, probably the previews show about as violent as they get.
Not really a big deal for me, the licensed cars are worth the trade off and the emphasis of the game seems to be the pursuit aspect as opposed to crashing.

I'm pretty sure it features those kind of assists from what I have seen, certainly stingers and choppers are something you can use.
Don't know what to think about these screens. They certainly aren't bullshots (like other racers tend to show, ahum). The lighting is very natural in screen 2-4. But aliasing is so clear in relatively small screenshots, that it makes me wonder how much worse it will be in 42" size.
Are you really going to care about a bit of aliasing when you're doing 250mph at 60fps with lots of motion blur?
Or would you sooner have a spluttery 30fps mess with no jaggies?
