Action-RPG game Nier has been released in Japan in a different version on Playstation 3, with the title Nier Replicant. DJmizuhara offers you some homemade videos and we start with the introduction and the first 10 minutes of the game.

I've uploaded 3 more videos, so they'll be up very soon. The camera is fine but in the first 10 minutes I had the camera set to regular mode but after about 20 minutes of fighting with the camera I inverted it. So those issues are no longer an issue.

Ok I thought this looked crap until I watched the intro.

The bit with the red balls reminds of an old school 2D shooter.

I didn't realize this was a jrpg. The music/ost is actually really good too.

I got the game today after watching the video here, haven't got very far but its surprising good, the art style is quite interesting, graphics are let down by the aliasing.

Is like a cross between Monster hunter and ICO.

Seriously, I like games for their content (story, graphics, gameplay) not for trying to see how many poly's you can use up to mesh and render some (questionable aged) girls front bottom =P

Not sure who the character is but 3:10 is the time in the intro video.

1) You should probably look it up yourself =)
2) What I mean by that is her age is questionable as to whether they should show an image like that. I.E. a child lol =)

Actually, if you look at the intro video at exactly 3:10, if you look closely, you do indeed see she has a camel toe . . . right beneath her penis bulge.

Never in my life, did I think I would ever utter such a sentence as the one I just typed (above).

My guess is the developers at Cavia, wanted to make sure in the cinematics, that the player knows at all times, the character has both sets of genitalia.

protagonist: one is a father that looks like a hobo, the second is a brother that looks like anyother effeminate japanese character. the pivotal character is the little girl. (not the chick with a sausage between her legs)

Gameplay and level design wise the games are identical.
The West just got the dad version, the little girly-guy is for japanese taste only. good ridance.

I duno the Japanese protagonist looks stupid WTF is with the hair for starters.

There are some quite funny bits in the game where they take the piss out of Zelda and other games.

Really liking it so far.

Free Swag there are 2 versions in Japan, one is the same as the Western version which is 360 exclusive in Japan.
