Microsoft released a new batch of images from Phantagram's Ninety Nine Nights. Looks great, and the sight of hundreds of enemies on screen never gets booring.
out of all the games that have been shown on the xbox360 this one amazes me the most! that includes even gears of war and some stuff for ps3. the level of detail of the characters and there're hundreds of these on the screen at once... thats truly a next gen-title!
i don,t think ill get this game. don,t look that good- this game will be releasing next month and this is how it looks. im looking forward to about 15 to 18 of the xbox 360 games this year- example - saint row - gears of war etc. but not this title.
can,t be bothered with ninety nine nights - too many nights but thats not the reason why im noy buying this game. i rahter going back to war in call duty 2.
need to see Halo 3.
Not impressed graphics-wise. But then this game has to be seen in motion. The kinda game I'd get really excited if there was a demo of it, but I wouldn't buy it.
That is, unless it turns out to be awesome and a must-have game.
Spiderling after seeing a version of this in motion in a some clips from toyko game show i'm 100% sure that the game looks MUCH better than this and these are just some bad screens. This will game will be extremely impressive come its release graphically and will deliver on the story aspect as well as gameplay.
I think in terms of environments this might match blue dragon its just hard to tell from these screenshots.
Man Blue Dragon is going to be major. Sakaguchi said everyone will be extremely surprised with the amount of interactivity possible with the environment.
Finally I have a monitor running at 1280x1024 to view all the screens in their full glory. The game looks nice, but the JPEG artifacts somehow kill it. I'm not able to make out a lot of detail in the screens but I can guess how it should look.
*edit* I wonder how the interaction with the surrounding is, in the first shot in particular with the flowers there! Looks great in the stills!
In the x05 stuff, the game looked pretty amazing to me, though granted all I saw was small videos. these pics look like the textures can't live up to the original screenshot that was released. This makes me sad.
PS. If you've been playing games for a long time, you would've realized by now that graphics don't mean squat when it comes to good games (what happen to good looking games of 3-4 years ago?). Storyline is unimportant either. I understand this is a media-heavy site, but it's futile to argue over graphics. Just enjoy the game for what it's worth.
