Well I'm having a great time playing it...it's a lot of fun and it's pretty funny too, the over the top scenes are awesome, I certainly don't think it's taking itself to seriously. Some of the QTE's are so awesome just watch the end of the first and second videos and you'll see why! :D
More videos to come...

A lot will love this, but I think it's crap. It's like the game takes itself so seriously, but it's completely over the top. And am I mistaken that the game is a repitition like this:

Fight some little enemies in real time, then do some stuntwork using QTE's, fight a huge boss (by always doing the same routine), kill him off by some QTE's.
You just described God Of War as well.

I know, but I didn't want to mention that because I would be assassinated ;o)
Oh so it's Ok to slam Ninja Blade and not God of War ...hmmm

Anyway, I think it looks brilliant, certainly not a AAA title but like DJmizuhara said, it's a game that doesnt take itself too seriously. Besides, I think technically speaking, it's quite impressive!

Cant wait for this to make its way to europe.

PS: anyone can tell us if its region free please ? It's all in English so if it's region free I'll just import from Japan.

The whole game is in English...menus, voice acting the lot, so no worries about not understanding the story. But I've no idea if it's region free, I've only got a Japanese machine. Sorry I can't help you out!

I see! Now worries. Thanks :) just have to wait for Play-asia to confirm if it's region free or not then.

I gotta say DJ Mizuhara the first video was full of awesome stuff. And the boss fight ending in the 2nd video was sick.

I'm gonna wait for the Asian release of Ninja Blade and import that, cause it comes out around the same time as SF4. And I have a Japanese Xbox 360.

God of War is a very good, above average action game with the problem of being vastly overhyped. It looks like Ninja Blade will also be a very good, above average action game, but thankfully, nobody is overhyping it.

the weapons remind me a helluva lot of heavenly sword. big heavy hitting sword, fast middle of the road sword, and fast as hell but piss weak swords on chains.

as for the costume, it looks like the tutorial, so im guessing its just what he wears in this section....kinda like ninja gaiden where he only wears his iconic leather digs after the first level.

Hm does this game just have one environment or? :P All the videos and screens seems to come from the same level... so, is there any environments that look different visually?

Also, I personally don't have anything against QTE, but I think they went overboard with some of the commands. I mean, "Catch"? Seriously? But other than that, looks slick but not something I want to pay $60 for (but may check it out when it becomes $30).

I like this game. I played the demo some and it's clearly not something that'll replace Ninja Gaiden anytime soon. That's not a criticism though because this comes across as a more relaxed typical action game, the kind we haven't really had much of this generation. It seems most games aim for the stars and either deliver or are forgotten on the basis of being "flops" when in reality, hadn't it been for the hype, they'd prolly make people quite happy.

This just doesn't have that stupid ambition in the first place and just looks to be a really slick action game from people that more than proved themselves with the equally no frills-but-slick Otogi games for the Xbox.

The only complaint I have is related to Otogi in fact - this just seems kinda old hat in comparison to the beauty of Raikoh's endeavours.

Once you complete the first mission you have the ability to change the colours of the ninja suit, you have a complete colour palette to choose from. During the second level you find a new suit and an emblem, there seems to be a lot of slots available for new suits and emblems. So yeah, you can customise your characters colours pretty much how U want. Hopefully I'll be posting more videos up today so you'll see the different ninja suits.

The whole game is set in Tokyo...so far and up to the third stage it's set in the city, I' couldn't really tell you if the environments change but I'm pretty sure the environments will change because the infection is spreading through the Tokyo area.

That sort of sucks actually. Most likely we'll see the same background the whole time, but I guess we'll see.

Shinobi recycled backgrounds but was still a fun title (and very satisfying when you beat it as it was hard as hell). By the way, how hard is the game? Ninja Gaiden difficult, Shinobi difficult, Devil May Cry difficult, or God of War difficult?

I played the demo and it wasn't quite as unoriginal as it looks, but there's too much button mashing going on, and I can't stand the QTE's
