We know we are late but sometimes one has to wait to get his hands on a good quality trailer. Unveiled at the VGX, No Man's Sky is the new game from the creators of Joe Danger, Hello Games, and it definitely looks great. Everything is procedural in this massively multiplayer sci-fi world, if you see something you can go there, you can fly in ships, shoot, walk, swim etc. No platforms and release date yet but it already has our attention.

It would have been nice if the animals where procedural too, rather than the usual birds in the sky and sharks and fish in the sea. Far too generic for a game with this much promise. Why go half-arsed?

I will still be playing though... :D

Conceptualy awesome and the art style is very compelling. Wonder how well it'll live up to these nice promises :)

I think it's the potential for it to be the next minecraft.

It's aiming for it. Both sony and MS are interested though, got people buttering the devs up, so might end up exclusive to one or the other.

Why do people always assume things aren't true just because it wasn't handed to them? The devs have said that that's one of the things they are working on now: ecosystems on the planet impacting things like wildlife.

Because we can only talk about what we have been shown, right? If they show sharks in the water and birds in the sky then obviously taht's what they are putting forwards. We can't well comment on what they haven't shown, now can we?

Cheers Korn. Hopefully it'll be ps4 then. Artstyle is absolutely fantastic, lsd alike with a touch of....Elite/Frontier (?) Not sure but it allows You to fly. That's enough.

The only thing interesting to me is how seemless it is to go from planet to space, thats about it.

this is being made by 4 people, which is amazing, TBH I think developers like this will save the commercial games industry as it heads towards Oblivion.

I've bought ever console since the Atari 2600, played BF4 for 2 hours last night and realized, I'm done. I have an Oculus and I'm pretty sure the consumer version will give me what I'm looking for, hopefully developers like this one, will make amazing content for it and everyone else.
