First 10 minutes Xbox 360

After our full review a bit less than a week ago, it is now time for us to show you a few videos of the single player campaign of Halo 4. Since we didn't want to spoil too many things, we chose to focus on the very beginning of the game, so you can simply have a sneak peek at the early levels. As you'll see, this fourth episode of Master Chief looks great and should please most gamers out there. As for us, we haven't changed our mind, after hours spent in the main campaign and in multiplayer, it's definitely one of the best games of this end of year. Since it is now officially available, don't hesitate to tell us what you think of it if you have given it a try.

this is by far the best looking game this gen. the videos dont do it justice

i still cant believe they pulled this off on the 360

People are getting upset that retarded Microshaft has this time put country only Dubs on the game, and people can't play it in English. Have you guys been using the french version (i don't see the videos), it can be played with English voices also?

No Microsoft sent us the English version. But it's always been like that with Halo, only one language on disc and it sucks for those who like to play in English.

Wow this is light years better than any Halo so far, the atmosphere, sound effects, soundtrack, so much better! Shame I don't have a Xbox 360 anymore, my first died years ago, didn't bother to buy a new one since then.

Which is damn embarassing considering there's always at least 3Gig Space left on ANY game disc. I wouldnt mind if the dubs were actually good, but they used to be so uber-super-hyper-turbo bad in past Halo games that i swore to myself that i would never ever buy a localized Halo game again. And then 343 comes along... No sincerly, the dub in my native language is with ease among the best in any game this time around. Really appreciate it 343 ! Now if Epic Games could follow the lead i'd be even more happy, because Epic dubs are amongst the baddest with ease...

Obviously they havent played Uncharted 3 and God of War 3 running on a big 1080p HDTV infront of them or they wont bother giving a damn.

Halo 4 looks fantastic for sure, among of one the best but definitely not "the" best on consoles.

Why do you have to be so negative? Do you get something personally out of trying to tell someone their opinion is wrong? I've seen Uncharted 3 and played God of War 3 on a big 1080p HDTV like you've described, and I easily place Halo 4 right up there with them.

I am not negative, why should I be? I am constantly saying how much i like the universe, the visuals, the story and artstyle and the Prothean weapon designs...is that negative?
I am just saying the way it is from what I see and have experienced. I am not into Halo's ass like some were I dont see one single flaw whatsoever.
And besides, why should my opinion be wrong, but not theirs? one sided much?

And like I said, Halo 4 is AMONG one of the best console games out there, but its definitely not THE best.

Neither of the games you mention are 1080p, The 360 does a great job at outputting at 1080p but Uncharted 3 at 1080p is actually 960x1080 which looks worse than running at native 720...so do yourself a favour and stick your PS3 to 720p which 99% of the games are. Only use 1080p for Blu-Rays.

Oh and Halo 4 looks better than both U3 and Gears 3.

As for the others, why do you always need to claim that "your" exclusives are the best looking games out there? Does it truly matter? Can't you guys simply be content knowing the game running on the console you own looks great?

LOL you either dont know your setup or your full of it, i am guessing both.

Some games on PS3 you have to force the PS3 display setting on 720p and remove 1080p setting to make it native and your TV will just scale the game to 1080p to fit the screen and not go 1080p or else it will look like shit, I now this because it happend to me when I got my 1080p from 720p TV, and this happened on NGS2 and Resistance 3, but since then its always been on 1080p.

So dont misinform false opinion as facts.

It's how you go about stating your opinion. Referring to someone else's opinion as a "hilariously bad joke" and assuming in a very dismissive way that they haven't played UC3 or GoW3 comes off as extremely negative.

I totaly love the Uncharted Series imo best series of this gen and Halo 4 looks better than Uncharted 3 imo.

Def the best looking game i've seen, playing it now and loving the visuals and cinematics plus the gameplay, best Halo yet for me by far!
