Kingdom Hearts III has received a very warm welcome and fans must be particularly delighted to finally be able to know where the complex storyline will take them. The following footage was recorded on Xbox One X in 1440p as it is the resolution chosen by the dev team, even in the graphics mode that prioritize framerate. It's a shame because the end result is never satisfying when it comes to framerate, as you will see for yourself. We wish developers always gave us the choice to play with a locked 30 fps when 60 isn't possible. We're not sure it would have been fully smooth, but why not propose an extra 1080p/60fps mode, it'd certainly have been more pleasant than what we have here. Don't you think?

Frankly, I'm waiting for the inevitable PC version. Hopefully Square Enix will also bring Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue to PC as well.
It's been a long time since I've played KH1 and KH2, and the story is, well... fuzzy, to say the least. Reminds me of Final Fantasy 13 and how Square Enix released a long trailer to explain its story before Final Fantasy 13-2's launch, to which most people - me included - were like: "So that's what happened!?!" and I 100% that game.
Kingdom Hearts takes that and multiplies by a thousand. You say "complex" storyline, I say "convoluted to infinity and beyond" storyline, but semantics. And people thought the original Neon Genesis Evangelion's story was convoluted. lmao
4k 60fps!!!
I just hope Square Enix brings the new HD versions as well, while I still have the KH1 and 2 discs, the new HD versions have better visuals and they fixed some issues with the original games.
