Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is now available everywhere in the world and we can finally propose a bunch of videos from the Xbox 360 version of the game. Obviously made for fans of the XIII series who wanted a conclusion to the trilogy, this new episode is quite complicated to follow in terms of story. The combat system seems to be pretty interesting though, mixing Active Time Battle and real time control of the main character, but you should know that it can get really challenging pretty fast.

You cant complete whole game on first attempt ;).
Got 2nd playtrough from new game+ and it's getting better & better.

Doesn't look that bad. too bad the series became average compared to the older final fantasy games. still, i would love to see the trilogy on Steam.

I'm gonna take my time and let the world end, on my 1st playthrough. When I level up to become BEASTMODE, then I may actually try to save the world. That's just how I roll ya'll.

I learned the time limited is throughout the game. Even in NG+

Hmm. Guess I'll wait for FFXV on PS4 before finally playing through a Final Fantasy.

Why do the visuals on this look much worse than FFXIII? The city looks worse than some of the cities in FFXII if they were rendered in HD. Hopefully, lightening will never return after this. FFXV is there last chance to redeam this series...

It looks like they rush released this game, because some parts of the game...the textures looks PS2 era. It's crazy to see a BETA MMO for Final Fantasy XIV Online has way better textures than Lightning Returns. Now having said that, I'm having fun with the game anyway.

Yea ... there some cases where the textures seem dated (especially if you own a next gen system) but beauty is skin deep :D
