As promised, we offer you a bunch of Crysis 3 PC videos, as well as a screenshot gallery. The game was set on maximum settings and "SMAA" antialiasing.
Hardware used to capture these videos: - Intel i7 2700K @ 4.7 GHz - 16 Go DDR3 1600 MHz - 2x NVidia GTX 680 SLI Capture software: Mirillis Action!
Thanks Miguel and GS, cannot stress enough how much I appreciate to have a site still turning out the high quality bit-rate videos, when most rape your eyes with their low quality youtube vids:(

Just two though. PC gamers usually have at least two.
Yeah, pretty weak...I got 18k Tesla cards crunching under the hood while playing minesweeper in 10k resolution. Need to have my whole basement full of hamsters running their wheels to power that beast.
Still seems like you'll get plenty of bang for your buck with the PS4 hardware if reactions to the specs are anything to go by. But yeah, if you have 20 000 wingwangs to blow on a sentient space computer that'll run Crysis 3 maxed out at a 4k resolution at 240 fps then that will most likely look pretty boss. Yes.

What kind of a difference does it make to use SMAA or TXAA?
Its not a major thing... you have to have a big monitor and you have to get used to SMAA and TXAA to feel like you appreciated it... thats just a thing for PC gamers that makes no real difference and is more usefull with either a more powerfull card or older games.

SMAA is going to be sharper, but will leave far more jagged edges. TXAA will sacrifice a bit of sharpness, but not in the way that FXAA does. I really like TXAA because it does an awesome job getting rid of jaggies and takes less power then MSAA. It also avoids the crawling artifacts that aliasing/MSAA have.
It looks great, but the lack of decent depth of field during gameplay is jarring. Everything is sharp as razor blades right up the end of the street (pic 11), and just doesn't look right.
Unless of course this is the benefit of being a super soldier? :P
Next gen is already here for the PC. My GTX580 is struggling hard, I can tell, but I've got it maxed out and probably get around 30fps on average. Saddens me to see this card finally struggling with something. This game looks pretty amazing though. More so than the Killzone demo from this week. I have to give them props though, at least they didn't try to pull off the infamous CGI bullshit and try to pass it off as gameplay like they did in 2005.
Crysis 3 is so demanding that even videos of it run slow on my PC!
Seriously, though. recently I can't get to play this site's 1080p 60fps videos smoothly, they run slower, and lose sync with audio. Older videos like the ones from Dirt 3 or Max Payne 3 run fine, though. Have the videos been upgraded and need a beefier PC? I'm still running a Core 2 Duo with a GTX 285.

Already looking forward to the Bioshock vids ;)
The New Games on PS4 looks like sh** compared to Crysis 3 On PC... PC own theme all... but too bad no much support for this platform...
Call it "The obvious facts of PC overpowers consoles".
So damn stupid even today to keep mentioning it for the sake of it.
I mean, Crysis 3 looks like shit compared to movie level CGI. But that doesn't make it insignificant or irrelevant.

Capture software: Mirillis Action!"
Now we're talking gamersyde. just the two GTX 680 in SLI is $1,000 and for PC gaming that is well worth the experience.
Now if only Crytek remakes Crysis 1 and Warhead single player using their latest version of the engine for PC and later for the next gen consoles.
