After the disappointment of the first stages in Michigan, DiRT 4 has shown us its potential, with the narrow and curvy roads of Wlaes, Spain, Sweden and Australia. That being said, you must keep in mind that this new installment in the series is nowhere near the complexity of DiRT Rally, but is however much closer to the first Colin McRae games than the first 3 DiRT when you choose the simulation mode. Although the driving is more forgiving than in DiRT Rally, it is still interesting enough once you've left the R2 cars behind, but we believe Codemasters will have a hard time convincing those who are into hardcore simulations. Those with a more open mind will disover a fun game to play that can offer enough realism to maintain their interest for a little while, until DiRT Rally is announced maybe?
Note: We're still experiencing issues with 4K capture so you might see some frame drops that will not be due to your PC. If the Mirillis Action! counter does not drop, it's not the game.
