Here are some videos of the Overwatch beta we captured for you guys. In case you don't know or you have forgotten, let us remind you that the game will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Spring 2016.
There's a pretty wide variety of traversal options in this game, so the appearance of "inflexible chokepoints" is a little misleading in my opinion. And beyond the flanking options you're given, a tank w/ enough support behind him can break through any line.
I've been playing loads of Tracer and she's very good at getting behind the enemy line.
Put about 10-15 hours into the beta this weekend. It's a blast. Team Fortress + MOBA concepts makes for a very dynamic experience that keeps the matches interesting.
Have to say, the game looks like a lot of fun. The team comp and strats of a moba, the action of an FPS, and the general polish of Blizzard. Seems like a winner :)
I don't know, it has the kind of stylized art that in a small, vague way reminds me of what a good looking Street Fighter might look like. It also reminds me a little bit of that new robot fighter with the super-simple controls. But generally, it just feels like a sort of cartoony game, with lots of personality in each character. Which is good. I havent even played it, and i already know which characters i like :)
