Spec Ops: The Line has always been presented as a game with strong emphasis on story and that's what it is really. Don't get me wrong, gameplay is solid and the shooting mechanics work well, but it is also true that it does not bring anything new to the genre. That being said, Yager's new title is clearly worth a look if you want to experience war in its worst aspects, a world in which soldiers and violence are not glamorized as it is sometimes. Here are four gameplay videos showing extracts from the first two hours and a half of the single player campaign. Just make sure you stay away from the fourth one if you are the sensitive type, or if you are interested in playing the game yourself.

Dont know why, but the gameplay feels like Freedom Fighters. But its a nice game.

I think I'll opt out. Reviews have been positive but if this has taught me anything it's that I can be a shallow man. The game just didn't look good enough.

I was watching a few gameplay vids from the PS3 version and I was just awed by how bad it looks running on PS3. I mean 6 years later, UE3 still doesn't run well on PS3.

I can't believe Silicon Knights lost that court case against Epic.

Not worth it, the scores have only been high in some cases because there is fuck all out at the moment, the actual text in them all say the gameplay is clunky and lacklustre. There are numerous TPS titles that make this look like amateur night both visually and most importantly, in gameplay terms...Oooh it has a "dark" story, do me a fucking favour, it amazes me that anyone will play through a shit game just for that but to each his own I guess, to be honest I would rather just read Heart of Darkness or watch Apocalypse Now.

Same could be said for epic and there online portion of gears of war, as that game has had broken problems since day one, yeah OK Silicon knights aren't the best but since gears neither has epic been, there games are mediocre
