Through the Woods is a Walking Simulator with a bit of stealth mechanics as you have to avoid the strange creatures of the Norwegian folkore as you progress into the forest. The game has been developed by developer Antagonist from Norway, and it conveys a pretty solid atmosphere, despite what some consider as some laconic voice-acting on the main character's part. Technically, the character models and animations are obviously dated, but the environment itself looks pretty good, with nice lighting effects with the torchlight when it gets dark. The game features 5 chapters and it should take around 4 hours to complete, as it is usually the case with indie story-driven adventures these days. The following videos only show extracts taken from the first 2 chapters (and Chapter 0, which is actually the game's prolog).
