I personally am only mildly interested, but the numbers show that people who DON'T play are in the MINORITY of FPS players, NOT the majority.

Commented on 2015-11-09 19:31:27I find the internet (and gamers, especially), live in little echo-chambers, where you're surrounded by like-minds, all saying the same things. Because of this, people think that their circle represents the entirety of the subject, when in reality, there are many other groups out there; some the majority, some the minority, some just the median.
With regards to COD, the numbers (sales and DAU) tell a different tale than the narrative that goes around by COD-haters.
And to be clear, I haven't liked a COD since Modern Warfare and haven't bought one since Advanced Warfare (although I've played a bit of them). And the only reason I bought COD AW, was because of Kevin Spacey. I've personally got other/more interesting (to me) FPS's to play, but I recognize the juggernaut that is Call of Duty.
