Video Xbox One

We continue our discovery of the Xbox One line-up with some videos of Battlefield 4. The new version of the game developed by DICE finally allows console players to enjoy the Frostbite 3 engine.
Note: Like the other videos of the day, these videos are affected by sound problems.

Depends on what happens. It seems only certain frequencies are affected. It's a *really* weird issue.

I have the almighty PC version at ultra settings, it's hard to say from the footage, but it does look really close.

In fact The flaked door textures on this shot is pretty accurate to the PC version.

of course the rendered native resolution is not as high as what you would get on PC, but the textures are there.

thanks for your answer. the game looks impressive one of the few next gen looking games, but the single player is still unfortunately so last gen corrido gaming...hopefully developers would start next year using the extra RAM on nextgen consoles and produce open gameplay environments and less corridor gaming...

Boat load of aliasing here, which I expected to greatly diminished with next gen. I hope they eventually figure out how to pull something magical out of their hats and get these Xbox games running in 1080p, without sacrificing other things in the process. Other than the resolution, it's certainly a step up from battlefield on its older brother.

The only thing magical required to get games running in 1080 on that console is time. It's clearly very capable.

Time? No. Concessions. And developers aren't going to make them. Games could have been 1080p on the Xbox 360 if that's was a priority.

They added the AO that was missing, and the gamersyde images have been captured properly, unlike DF which had horrible black crush.

The reason is that most of the time, we don't get all versions of the games that are released and we can only cover those we're sent as we don't have the money to buy games for the website. Now if you want to make a present and buy the game for us, we'll be happy to make videos. :p

We made videos of Lego Marvel and COD ghosts on PS4 and I didn't see anyone complain that there was no One footage for these two. So no, we are not biased, as some idiots might believe on Gaf.

In short, there can only be videos of the versions we are sent. There is absolutely no money left to pay for games, and Blim and I (or the rest of the team) are not going to spend our own money to make a few videos when we're not interested in them. We're not that dedicated to you guys. :)
