I agree about the plane, over the top action, I hope the whole tone of the game is that it doesn't take itself too serious. Unlike CoD and stuff like that, which is over the top action, too, but trying to be all serious and dramatic. Unfortunately, the way they give importance to that music and the musician's pretty hollow story is cringeworthy and without any humour, as is the interview.
Apart from that, I loved the fur on those tigers. The fur technique basically is the same as it has been for years (see nvidia or ati tech demos from back then and compare the rendering artifacts with those here), but it has more layers and probably better generation process, the textures are rendered out from a 3D app where the fur has progressed alot also. Except for the layering artifacts when seen from up close, it looks great most of the time.
If anyone knows other games with great fur rendering, I'm interested in recommendations. :)
