Today's new cinematic trailer of Vampyr, the RPG from DONTNod and Focus, depicts the duality of Dr. Jonathan Reid. In the game's 1918 London, each murder will have an impact and the choice to save or kill citizens in order to get stronger will prove difficult given the increasing number of vampire hunters prowling the streets. The game will release in 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

I love the setting and premise, but the gameplay i've seen of this hasn't interested me in the slightest. I'm hoping they were just poor showings though because i'm a sucker for victorian era london.

Yeah, same here. I liked the concept, then i saw what the gameplay looked like and just went "Eeeeeh...no" :P

i dunno. i'm not convinced they're capable of making good games. but they do now how to build cool worlds. we'll see

I may suffer through this and buy it just to show developers that they can make more WRPGs that aren't in space or have elves and dwarfs and shit.
