EA released a new batch of screenshots of SHIFT 2 Unleashed. The game will ship at the end of this month on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC and we will not fail to capture a few gameplay videos as soon as possible. Update: 8 images added.
i wish i could combine these racings games into one. I'd love to take GT5's prem car models, mix them with forza's handling/austion house/community art, and throw in shifts awsome helmet cam and sound effects
I hope forza 4 pushes alot for this combination...as as much as i think Shift 2 looks great i just know it will play like the previous
Yeah would be great if Forza 4 was aimed a bit more like Shift with the great feeling of racing however i fully expect it to be right in the middle of Shift's racing and GT'5 driving and car collecting style.
Shift had some great presentation ideas, but the overall gameplay was still just not nearly as good as it could have or should have been. I'm not gonna get hyped for this game but I'll certainly at least rent the game as I love this genre so much and just in case the game ends up fixing all the gameplay issues that really hurt the first game.
Sounds fantastic, sounds like they are focussing on exciting gameplay rather than mundane car collecting, racing against AI that is non existent and having to constantly grind to get car's.

Interesting read, but in all the pics, they are just using the xbox360 controller and not eg Fanatec or G25/G27 wheel with clutch.
How are these racers going to be the judge of anything if they are trying to compare real life racing with a steering wheel and a game using a xbox controller. Almost makes there testing data invalid.
