The game looks very good. The next generation of hardware can produce some really beautiful graphics. It looks very polished to me.
Can't wait to play it.

They were on 1up.com a while ago but in lowres. The game looks great, but animation is a bit off. I mean, Sam Fisher's animation is one of the best on Xbox, but it isn't improved in its next-gen iteration.

Hmm, yeah, I think it was teamxbox now that I think about it. I'm sure I've linked to these ages ago.

Nevertheless, all media should be stuck here anyway, even if it's a bit old. One resource for all the high res media, that's the whole point (unless I missed it).

Looks like 1up had these screenshots exclusively in march, but in low res.

i've seen this before but they were in low res, thank you so much BLIMBLIM! That 4th screenshot's graphics look insane, with the soldiers coming at him, Sam's character model, bloom effect, and everything SO polished. I just hope they can make the animations better 'cause it's exactly the same as Chaos Theory and I know Ubisoft always does new mo-capped or hand animation for each game in the series, so I hope they improve it.
That 3rd screenshot looks unreal! With the Tokyo skyscrapers showing and is he holding a mic?!

Well, they're brand new to those of us that can't stand 1ups bloated, ad laden, nightmarishly cluttered interface :) Oh, and they're fracken' fantastic. I'm gonna marry this game (along w/ R6:Vegas amongst others, polygamy's gotta be legal somewhere, right?).

Graphics looks good but ive seen a few gameplay trailers and the animation as in walking running is the same as current gen, but current gen splinter cell animation was amazing for xbox 1, i wanted to see smoother and better animation hopefully they will improve the animations, but the graphics looks good.

Nope, the scope of MGS4 looks bigger, but i can't really say that..since these can be gameplay shots and the MGS4 were trailers using the ingame engine and kojima's masterful editing skills.. but visually i felt MGS4 does look better..has a more epic feel..like your action can lead to catastrophic effects..whereas this looks like a normal tactical mission..sneak in..do the job..get out..

Game looks good never the less, hasn't improved much from the e3 shots i saw..

is it me, or are the outdoor screenshots in the sunlight feeling abit, away from splinter cell? splinter cell is famous for using the darkness and shadows to your advantage.."enemy doesn't even know you were there feel".. the outdoor levels just scream action/adventure, rather than stealth mode..and unlike snake..he doesn't even have a stealth camoflauge suit on for the outdoor levels!

Many people on the Net complain about no AA in E3 demo, but I didn't notice any jaggies while watching E3 videos (backstage footage from XBLM or gameplay videos from Xboxyde). So how is it with AA?

I think i'm losing my mind... but didn't mgs4 look like crap compared to what you expected it to look like? There were not only noticeable graphical downgrades it didn't even look better than Lost Planet for the 360.

I know the game will likely look better than the trailer on release, but that trailer I think it is getting most of the praise because of the developer working on it and it being mgs4.

Uh, i agree. I personally thought the MGS4 trailer wasn't very good. It was too scripted like the PS3 'real-time demos' of E3 2k5. I thought Snake looked good but everything else was pretty uninspiring.

Personally, i think we are already getting stuff running real-time in gameplay on the 360 that looks on-par or better than quite a lot of the ps3 stuff.

Nice screens. As mentioned quite a few have already been seen, but its always good to have it in hi-res :)
