Gamersyde PC Xbox 360 PS3

Finally, after months of intensive work, we are going to be given the gift of time. December will indeed be a welcome break for us here. In November, you got your share of review and videos as usual, but as the big 2012 released are all out now, the weeks to come should be rather quiet. Don't worry though, since a few games slipped through our fingers lately, like Assassin's Creed Liberation and LEGO Lords of the Rings for example, we will try to catch up on the footage we haven't been able to deliver. What's more, we will let you have another look at Project CARS so you can see if some progress has been made since last time. The holiday season is now upon us, Gamersyde is still up and running, so let's just hope the end of the world will not show itself in three weeks so we can continue next year.

I only bought hitman and that was some of he least fun i've ever had playing a game thanks to it's broken disguise system.

I'm playing ac3 which is just as tedious as previous titles

And i WAS going to pick up far cry 3 until i found out it is pathetically unoptimised for consoles.

Not been a great years end for me really.

FC3 is totally optimized for 2005/6 hardware, at least on 360. It's open world, AI is good for once and gameplay mechanics leave a lot of freedom of action. Now sure, it looks nowhere as good as on PC, framerate is not as high as we could hope but honestly, I don't see how they could have done any better.

Paired it back some more? I'd rather the game not look quite as nice but have a solid framerate and be v-sync'd tbh. If you can achieve solid performance and graphical nicety, then obviously that's ideal, but if you can't, you should never sacrifice performance for the sake of some graphical bells and whistles imo.

You can't have it all. Open world games on PS3 and 360 usually aren't the best framerate wise

It's been a great month for multiplats, Picked up Hitman, Far Cry 3 & Assassins Creed 3 as well as Halo 4

A not so great month for the PS3's big hitters this fall, LBPKarting, Wonderbook and All Stars Battle Royale all failing to impress.
