The shmup Omega Five developed by Natsume impress with a new batch of images and a video, dedicated to the Sensei character. It looks like fun, especially knowing this is an Xbox Live Marketplace title, so you get it for a reasonable price. Release date is planned this month.

The different environments are giving me strong Thunderforce vibes, if only I didn't have to play as an old man in pyjamas. WTF were they thinking?

Hah! Yeah, I can say I would like it better if it was a ship instead of characters on a hover thing. Still, looks great, and I haven't played a new shmup in ages.
