We may not be entirely convinced by the potential of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, but when it comes to beautiful landscapes, Ubisoft's title is undoubtedly impressive. Here are two viewpoints we discovered last night and we wanted to share. We are sorry we don't have the time to propose the kind of environment videos we made for Horizon: Zero Dawn, but we hope we'll be able to do so later so you can appreciate the game's visual variety. Until then, enjoy the passing of time in the two following extracts, both captured in real time.

every scenario the game threw at you in the beta could be handled in the exact same way. it's just not a very fun game imo.
I have no clue about the game outside of videos here. I also think I'm the only one left in the world with a 6 series geforce card. I'm afraid to buy the game.
Drift: What is the game's main problem?
Having said that, if buying a new GPU is not an option, there are a few videos of Wildland's betas running on a GTX 600 series' GPUs. While I don't know which GPU you have, most people seem to have the GTX 680 of that series, so I went with that.
It seems you can run the game at a mix of High and Medium settings at 1080p@30fps, as the video below indicates. Note the description that says that while the in-game resolution was set to 1280 x 720, the Benchmark ran at 1920 x 1080, so those results are from the 1080p resolution. And the game still looked good imho.

Thanks for that link.
If it doesn't run well or you just simply don't like the game, since you bought it on Steam and played under 2 hours, you would have 14 days to ask for a refund. You can do this with Ubisoft's games since their return policy on Uplay is not very good, but they're all on Steam anyway.
Btw, you don't need to build a new PC right away, you can just buy the GPU and use it with the old PC just fine, this way you don't need to build a PC right now, but do get all the advantages associated with a new GPU. This is what I did before building my current PC last year and had no problems.
And lastly, you can use your old SSD(s) and/or HDD(s) on a new PC without needing to reinstall the OS or programs. But even if you decided to buy a new SSD or HDD, you can always use a program to make a copy of the OS's configuration and programs installed, and then paste the copy on the new SSD or HDD. There's many programs to do this that are free and reliable.
Below is an article from PCMag on the subject of cloning a drive. But you can also Google search for "Cloning Drive" for thousands of guides and tutorials. There's also thousands of videos on YouTube showing it step by step.

I hope any of this helps.
I played coop a bit with a couple of public assholes, even that was enjoyable believe it or not. I don't regret the purchase at all. I need a better video card to run it better, but I'm not complaining with 50fps average.
I think, like Sdarts said, if you co-op this game with people you know, it's got to be ten times funner. I just don't know anyone to test this theory. haha
But unfortunately I have many other games to play before and am actually trying to finish Tales of Berseria as fast as possibly before NieR: Automata drops, which I'm very excited to play.
Also, after playing the open beta of Wildlands I decided to wait for when the game drops in price before buying it. I'm not gonna say anything bad about it, just that I've read about 30-40 threads of people's opinions of the game during open beta on both the official forums and on the Wildlands Reddit, and for me at least, it's not worth $60.
Really don't want to make you or anyone feel bad about your purchase. If you enjoy the game a lot, which you said you do, then it's worth every cent. And like I said before, I hope you have a lot of fun with the game. Try asking in the "What's up?" shoutbox if anyone else here on Gamersyde has bought the game as well, and then ask if they wanna join you. I'm sure some people will. Good luck!
