Unacceptable IMO for todays shooters, especially in a FPS military, not as many people will get it.
"team, blast my target" audio? military guys are up for anything eh...lol
I would like to see a game that accurately depicts being shot, not this "press A to patch wounds" bullshit. that way, you'd consider your options far more carefully.
Wasn't Full Spectrum Warrior a bit more like that? A current-gen version of that would be cool.

I remember reading a preview about this game where the writer was gushing about the "realism", and how gut wrenching and emotional and realistic it is to see your squad mates die and have to push on without them. When I asked him what happened when they die, he stated that they simply respawn at either the next checkpoint, or the next mission. Wow, now THAT is realism!
All I want is a game like the old school Ghost Recon or Op Flashpoint. Imagine picking your squad, hearing their banter, learning about their lives, and watching their skills increase as you fight together. Then seeing them take a bullet and know that they are gone for good. Knowing that you must continue the mission alone, and start the next mission with a green recruit with limited skills. Now THAT would actually make me think twice about sending my guys into a suicide mission.
Is everyone seriously so obsessed with the lame COD style shooter right now, that every developer has to make one? There isn't a single shooter coming out this year that I am remotely interested in. Crysis 2 was ok for a quick rental, but that is about it for the year. Maybe Deus Ex: HR, if they don't screw up that license like Codies has done with Flashpoint...
