Video Xbox One Xbox 360

We've had a pretty awesome start to October with the amazing Forza Horizon 2 on the XboxOne and the stunning DriveClub on PS4. Welcome Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox 360 into the fold. Released on October 2nd here in Japan alongside the XboxOne version, Sumo Digital take the reins with this version pushing the 360 to its absolute limits.

I have this game and wouldn't say that it's "pushing the 360 to its absolute limits". It doesn't look bad, but the original Forza Horizon actually looks slightly better when comparing. I have the feeling that it would look better if the original studio had developed it.
However, I think they made the right decision to let a different team take care of the Xbox 360 though, as it allowed Playground Games to focus on the Xbox One game.
It's by no means a bad game on Xbox 360 - just not as good as it could've been. :)

Yeah I'm glad Playground only had to focus on the Xbox One version, because that looks amazing.

In fairness this 360 version appears to be slightly more open compared to the first- not massively but enough to account for why things look scaled back a bit. It feels barren like pgr2 or even most N64 games which again I think is understandable and actually I like that atmosphere. I'll definitely pick this one up at some point because they'll still be a lot of driving content to enjoy in this version and I don't have XB1

With Forza's cartoon graphics on display, I half expected mario to pop up in game.

The color palette used is a design choice...Playground actually turned down the saturation after E3. But if all you can talk about is the visuals which look phenomenal, then Playground did a great job on this game indeed.

im just wondering if these graphics have been toned down to make the XB1 version stand out more, im pretty certain the 360 can do more just it looks like its being pushed back to 2007's graphics rather than 2014's graphics, go back 2 years ago and the graphics on the 360 looked a lot better!

one thing that really irritates me is the constant need to keep rewinding all the time, couldn't you have just done a replay of the race where we wouldn't see the constant rewinding all the time.
