Our PC videos of Far Cry Primal

For the final part of our coverage of Far Cry: Primal, we saved the best for last. The PC version of the game will be available this week but since Ubisoft provided us with a review code, we had the chance to capture some footage a bit early for you guys. Miguel took care of it and apart from the few problems caused by Mirillis Action! you might notice from time to time in the videos, he enjoyed a perfectly smooth and optimized experience. He was just surprised to see neither HBAO+ option nor special fur effect as in Far Cry 4. As for antialiasing, there is no MSAA to be seen, but the game still looks great thankfully. Really hating the low-contrast filter. Is there any way to convert the washed-out vanilla version

i'd imagine you can fanny around with your TV settings if you want black crush?

It's not as easy as that because the effect is depth-dependent. So to remove it you would need access to the Z-Buffer. The slight black crush is just a side-effect of the quick photoshop makeup.

Best thing would be, if they just would allow to deactivate the diffusion effect. I really like contrast...

the "diffusion effect" is a result of the volumetric lighting. by definition, the air has "volume" or "fog" to make the light passing through it, visible.

Yeah, SweetFX & Shaders, Works like Magic all the time.
just wait 2 days and you can find plenty of SweetFx (Ultimate Engine & Realistic ones are my Fav).
