I must confess, however old I am, I never played any of the King's Quest games when I was a kid. I still remember them though, particularly number V and VI which featured 256 colors for the very first time. I would be green with envy when reading the PC reviews in magazines, wishing I had more money (and more comprehensive parents) to be able to play them. Thankfully, Sierra (aka indie Activision) made it possible for me to get acquainted with the franchise with a brand new episode. I just had time to play the very beginning so it's too early to say if this first part is truly worth it, but so far I'm liking it very much.
