We were sent a review code for Rain World about 2 weeks ago but we could never find the time to tell you a bit about it. Until today that is. Sadly, Videocult's game has failed to convince us, due to frustrating design choices and imprecise controls that often lead you to your death. Eveytime you die, you must go back to the previous checkpoint, a hiding place where you were able to hibernate. Since finding those spots can be tricky, you're more or less bound to fail many times before being able to save your progress again. Some might find it challenging, but as for us, we just stopped playing after a while, which is a real shame as the game world and the animations look very nice. Be warned then.
