December is rather quiet when it comes to video games, so when something as precious as Trine 2 is released, there is about every reason to get excited. One, because Frozenbyte's title looks absolutely gorgeous. Two, because this new adventure can finally be shared with friends. With more puzzles based on physics, platform and combat, this sequel should please the fans and convince those who had missed the first episode. Add to that the fact that it will only cost you $14.99 (12.99€) to acquire the PC version, a real bargain considering the overall quality of the game. Here are two videos in 1080p and 60 fps to prove our point, PC version obviously (note that the minor slowdowns you might see are due to Fraps).
Update: Added two gameplay videos.

This does look fantastic though.
GoW3 still looks amazing...despite you trying to lie to yourself and say it doesn't. If people could make the excuse that the lack of camera control contributed to GoW3 looking as good as it did because you only got to see what the devs wanted you to see, then obviously the same excuse can be made for this game.
However, I personally don't think it's valid to downplay a game's visuals just because you don't get to take control of the perspective.

Game looks good tho.
Anyway, this looks brilliant visually; gotta love the art style. The first game was really fun so I'm sure this'll be no different, may in fact pick it up at some point.
This game looks amazing, and that cheap price makes it a must buy!
