Assassin's Creed Origins will be available later this week but we thought you might like to see the game in action on PS4 Pro before its official release. Inside you'll find spoiler-free videos showing some gameplay elements but above all some nice strolls in the beautiful landscapes of the game. This is without a doubt the most gorgeous Assassin's Creed game to date, bringing Ubisoft's series on par with (or at least very close to) technical references such as Horizon: Zero Dawn, no less. Enjoy!
Note: Our version of the game does include the Day One patch.

Its getting really annoying having to wait for release impressions to find out stuff like this instead of an official dev announcement beforehand
Do you mean on a console or in general?
Because Assassin's Creed: Unity's Dead Kings DLC on PC with all settings maxed is probably the most gorgeous game I ever played, technical quality wise - even at 1080p. It's like playing a real time CG movie and I can't even imagine how even more gorgeous it would look at 2160p.
As beautiful as Horizon: Zero Dawn is, it never reached that level of "real time CG movie" even at pseudo 2160p. So it would be interesting to know what you mean by that.
Aside from that, AC:Origins looks great, but I didn't get the impression that it looked better than AC:Unity from all the 4k gameplay walkthroughs I've watched. Though I will only be able to judge that by playing at max settings on PC when it launches.

The only thing I have to take away from this CG trailer is, wow, The Order 1886 looks like this ingame/inengine pretty much, even the scene in the bar.
At NO point in any footage of AC Unity or Syndicate's ingame does it look anything like "you are playing a CG production" lol (especially with them broken ass animations, you aren't either), even maxed out on PC.
I'd love to see some of this footage you are talking about because I'm just not seeing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5pbfhaiXVg and a Youtube video is normally good enough to show real life stuff so you'd think at game at CG level would be easy to make out if it were the case.
Horizon Zero Dawn DID indeed "reach that level of real time CG movie but no, not "at pseudo 2160p", it did it at 1080p on a standard PS4. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13528...
Remember, all captured from real, actual gameplay. And CG movies were around long before 1080p resolution so I don't know why CG being at 4K is supposed to matter.
I will be looking even more forward to playing AC:Origins when it launches then. I've been missing Assassin's Creed very badly, love the parkour movement set and the historical time periods. Hopefully AC:Origins delivers!
Also, if you have around 5-10 hours free and are interested, I would definitely recommend AC:Unity's Dead Kings at 4k - even if it's at 30fps - just so you can see how gorgeous it looks.
