The embargo concerning Far Cry 4 was lifted yesterday and that's exactly when we got our copy of the game. Needless to say we haven't been able to play much since then, so we can't really tell you if it's worth it or not. So far, it's quite similar to the previous episode but it looks undeniably better, even when comparing the PC version of Far Cry 3 to the PS4 version of the fourth installment in the franchise. After Assassin's Creed Unity, you'll be glad to hear that the game's performance is very solid, with a steady 30 fps in almost all circumstances. If these videos aren't enough, you should know that we'll be live tomorrow at 10:00 p.m. GMT+1 with Davton who will join us for some co-op action.
Update: 4 videos added.

Thank you for the uploads, however.
It's sad to me that we are barely into the new gen of consoles and they are so weak.

you maybe able to play halo5 on pc
but you will never be able to play uncharted , god of war or games that are made by the first party of Sony (or maybe in the future, you can play all these with the emulator, who knows)
So, if you like some console exclusive games, then you have to buy it
if not, then pc is always the potentially best place to play

Guys please don't overestimate the power of a $400 GPU. No $400 GPU can play all current games at 1080p 60fps much less 1440p 60fps(the res I game at), and this comes from a PC gamer who owns a Gaming rig with 2 x 780GTX Ti's in SLI, a 6 core i7 @4.2GHz and 18 GB ram, and my PC still can't play some games at 1440p 60fps max settings, much less 4k.
I agree with some of what you are saying, but don't shit all over console gaming, it has its ups and downs just like PC gaming. Sure PC gamers get games cheaper on the whole, awesome mods etc but we also have a lot more fiddling about to do, contending with piss poor ports, shoddy drivers and brand specific optimisations(e.g. some games built to run better on AMD or Nvidia hardware).
I own a PS4 and was about to buy an Xbone, but Sunset Overdrive alone wasn't worth it for me so I cancelled the order(the white version sure did tempt me though), and I have no interest in Halo.
Let's just all be gamers fellas, and not let what we choose to game on offend others.
PS: Great vids by the way guys, the PS4 version looks fantastic. DF praised it quite a lot.
Because my overclocked 780Ti has problems in achieving 60fps in 1080p on max settings in most of the recently published games.
There's a give and take there. Every platform has some benefit and appeals to different people for different reasons.
Back to topic: Far Cry 4 seems to work very well. Why doesn't Ubisoft use Dunia for more projects? Disrupt and and Anvil seem to be failures.
That's a sad state of affairs when the latest mobile processors, freak, even the 860m is more powerful. Yeah, console are "cheaper" but $600+ for the console, controllers, etc, seems like a bit much for 30 fps...
Never mind graphics, people should start pulling together and question why we keep getting recycled gameplay mechanics in every title.
For me, I can build a killer gaming PC for much less than $1000. Yep, still more expensive than a "next gen" console but much more flexible. Now, I have owned every single console since the Atari 2600 but I finally bowed out of this "Next Gen" BS. A $600 PC is more "next gen" than these consoles.
Regardless, let's have a discussion. Not a juvenile flamewar.
On my PC, I am currently running an i5 with two GTX 970s in SLI on a Qnix 27" @ 96hz. I am not saying my system even compares price wise but I am just saying, after playing at 60 or let alone 96 hz, 30 FPS is just horrid on the eyes. Not a personal insult at all.
PS - Did you know that you can get a GTX 970 that plays all the latest games (Battlefield 4 @ 1080p, even at 96hz) for $329 with a FREE copy of Far Cry 4? That just leaves you a $150-$200 CPU, then mobo and other components for quite cheap? That gives you a killer system for not a ton more than a console with controllers, Xbox Live, etc etc.
