Err yeah, for a game that comes nowhere close to the visual complexity or scope of a PS4 game like Horizon Zero Dawn (even on standard PS4), it sure does look "pretty decent for PS4".

This and Assassin's Creed Orgins will be the top two sellers this holiday season and this year. Watch.
Call of Duty will definitely chart in the top ten but it's not going to be the best selling game of the year. It's got to do a lot of legwork to catch up with stuff like Wildlands in a very short period of time. And the biggest hit of the year? PUBG, I imagine. It will outsell Call of Duty on any single platform this year.

Gameplay, physics, animations all from a decade ago. Yep, that'll be another COD and 50 of your hard earned nuggets, please. Oh, but it's WW2...
If they changed the physics.. I'm not sure it would be Call of Duty anymore. This franchise isn't like Battlefield, where the developer has the scope and talent to reinvent the wheel every few sequels. Its continued popularity thrives on its familiarity. If it didn't FEEL like Call of Duty, would people still buy it every year?

LMFAO.
True though.
Anyone who has played Battlefield games knows that they're vastly different games sequel-to-sequel, despite all of the core games being developed by the same studio, and that they've started from scratch on many more occasions than Call of Duty. Battlefield 4 and Bad Company 2 are basically the only "direct sequels" they've ever made. That's not even getting into the phenomenal software technology they've created. Compared to Call of Duty, which managed to follow its formula even when they added exosuits, that difference is pretty damn clear. TitanFall is Call of Duty reinvented. It didn't go so well.
But you'd have to know one thing about multiplayer FPS games to know any of that, so I understand the confusion. I don't even play BF1, but it's more interesting than anything Call of Duty has done in many years. And it's just a much better product anymore.
None of these farmed out Call of Duty games will ever be great.
