GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

Last week we were invited at a preview event at Ubisoft's in Paris and we were able to bring back some videos from the PS4 version of Trackmania Turbo. The version we played was nearly final, which means there was a lot more content than in the beta you may have played. The addictive racing game developped by Nadeo will be released on March 24.

Ive been playing the beta on X1 for a few weeks and its crazy how addictive it is! Had a bunch of friends over at the weekend and was passing the controller round.. nobody wanted to give up their go! Proper old school arcade racing fun with the "just one more go" feel!
Visually its excellent.. smooth as butter. Mp online is fun as hell and works flawlessly.
Have to give credit to the awesome dynamic soundtrack too.. more arcade racers need this :)
Also had a quick mess around with the track editor.. quite comprehensive and intuitive.. going to be a lot of fun creating some crazy circuits.. really looking forward to this :)

Reminds me of the mobile game Jet Car Stunts, a bit. Are there any longer tracks, or any closed loop circuits? Looks like a bunch of 20 second short races to me and I dunno if I will like that.

It aint but it's really a really fun franchise. It's pretty far removed from other arcade racers.

It's about as arcade as arcade games get. Great time attack game.

The track editor should allow for some pretty wild creations. I'm not sure about size limits. The situation with this franchise on PC is a little confusing. Turbo is missing features from TM2.. which is still supported.

Tracks get longer and more difficult.

I have high hopes for this game but I'm not sure if it'll be as fun as I'm hoping. I like the idea of an arcade heavy time attack game I'm just not sure how long that idea can stay fun.

And yes, every 5 races you have a closed circuit with several laps.

People can basically make tracks as long as they want if I remember well ;) and believe me, sometimes you will spend a lot of time to finish one ;)

Personally I'm tired of games these days pretty fast so if I say this game stays a lot of fun for a long time it's for a reason ;)

The games I had the most & longest fun with and still having so far are Trials Evolution/Fusion, Plants vs Zombies: Garden warfare 1 & 2 and Trackmania Forever back in the days ;) So will I have with this one! Ow and last but not least don't let me forget BF:BC2 ;)

Did you play it on console or pc? I wonder if it's as fun with the trigger-buttons like L2/R2 or LT/RT or rather just oldschool keyboard buttons & click buttons like L1/R1 or LB/RB?

I have to say, I gave up on this series years ago but when I saw the first trailer for Trackmania: Turbo my heart went like boom boOM BOOM!
