Developed by RED SOUL GAMES, a small independent studio with a team of between two and ten according to its Linkedin page, Post Trauma invites you to rediscover old-school survival horror games like the original Silent Hill series. While combat plays a much less prominent role, there are plenty of rewarding puzzles, a strange, disturbing atmosphere and carefully placed, predefined camera angles (note, however, that the game includes a few sequences in first-person or with a more conventional over-the-shoulder camera). Puzzles are more cryptic and less guided than in current games, and melee combat is as stiff and clunky as in the past. It may not be a perfect attempt, due to a lack of depth in both story and characters, not to mention the few bugs that still remain, but it is clearly interesting if you're a fan of the genre, especially at this price tag (less than €15/$15). Count between five and eight hours to complete the game.
