We can't say we were very hopeful when it came to The Lord of the Rings: Gollum but we thought it'd be at least a bit entertaining. It turns out it is absolutely not as it is dated in every possible way and we never felt engaged when playing. After a few hours (and a buggy checkpoint which forced us to restart a whole level), we simply gave up and so should you if you ever considered purchasing it.

The character would have had some interesting potential for a "drama" / "psychological" game.
Now it's reviewing very, very badly and all I can think of, is the same thing I've been thinking of ever since this game's announcement:
"Why are they wasting money on this shit, instead of focusing on their strengths, which are 2D Adventure games!?"
Now I fear that this game will fail spectacularly and Daedalic might shut down - even if not in a few months, but in a few years. All because of some freaking dumb decision to spend a lot of money on this very bad idea, which was very badly executed.
