First 10 minutes PC

Jordan Mechner, Paul Cuisset and Eric Chahi are three names which are still praised today because of what these guys have brought to video games. Chahi's Another World (Out of this World in North America) was among the first titles to offer a cinematic experience, bringing animated cutscenes to us young players of the 90s. Since the game got finally released on Steam yesterday, we thought you might enjoy going back in time for a few minutes and (re) discover this jewel of a title both in its original form and its HD version. Enjoy!

Can't dismiss how weak the execution of Dust is with such potential, so no more money from me Mr. Chahi.

I have the fondest memories of this though in truth its not a fantastic game as such but certainly one that anyone should have played through by now- especially back then when it was quite the experience and unlike other games. Reminds me when games didn't always feel like games

Yeah...it was the time, when I switched from 8 bit ZX Spectrum, so You can imagine, how shockingly awesome it was for me. I was 12 or something like that.

Btw, did anyone play the sequel Heart of the Alien ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I96KDI6NNHA
This one's been done without Eric Chahi's participation or approval though. Not to be confused with Heart of Darkness, although i'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the latter too if you liked Another World or Abe's Oddysee.

I think this was a Sega-CD exclusive, therefore not very popular.

How about flashback? That was great because it was less trial an error and you could save.

I love those big upgrades from our past. I went from an Apple //c to a 386sx. Despite being the bitch end of the 386 line, that's still a pretty ridiculous leap in technology.

And now I can emulate all of those systems on a portable, connected device that fits in my pocket. :)
