With every week comes an avalanche of new releases and great responsibility for us at Gamersyde. Our job gets a little more difficult when so many titles ship at the same time and when we decide to talk about them all. In short, you are going to see a lot of homemade videos this week and we will start today with Dark Souls. Yes, you'll tell me DJmizuhara did just that a few weeks back and you are absolutely right. But here are a bunch of videos from the European version of the game, a sequel which has gotten even more challenging despite the presence of check points. Like some reviewers said, it is difficult to say if you will like this unforgiving title or not, depending on what you're looking for. If you like games to go easy on you, then From Software's latest creation is probably not for you. On the contrary, if you think challenge is where all the fun is, then you won't be disappointed. Choose your side!

Checkpoints respawn all the enemies u killed (if u make use of the checkpoint).
I would advice people to think before buying this game, cuz its evil.
Though I have to admit I am enjoying it 100%
Thats practically rule #1 of the "Souls series".

Then, I had four games to take care of this week end, for a total of 16 videos to edit and upload. You can easily imagine that did not leave me much time to improve my Souls skills. :)
So sorry about the way I play, I did the best I could. now I just hope I did not do such a poor job in the other vids. :D
But dont treat it like a action game and go all in for the attack.
Check the enemy patterns and use your shield and roll alot.
Do like 2-3 attacks and retreat, especially with the low stamina you got.
I for one thought you did play Demons Souls, but if you didnt then its perfectly understandable considering thats what I did as well when I got it lol
Uhm no, DS had no bonfire checkpoints that reset enemies whenever u choose to use them.
Perhap u mean that DS resets enemies whenever u died? Yes thats true but it didn't give you any choice 2 reset the enemies while alive.
The bonfires present you with 2 choices:
-Receive a checkpoint, Heal and reset enemies.
-Don't use them and everything you killed until then stays dead BUT if you die, u'll be spawned wayyy back to ur previous checkpoint. (and end up killing the enemies again)
Its evil I tell ya.

Dark Souls definitely looks nice, will be fun :)

A. you die
or
B. You go back to the Nexus (which basically is gone now but replaced by these bonfires. They're just like the level stones in DS)
The thing is, I get that I could have done a better job, but that's not really my kind of game. ^^
The moment you saw that Taurus Demon...wonder what went through your head, the next thing we see..run for your live, lol !
I just love it !
Remind me of me playing that game :) When I saw that Demon I just thought "Shi....!!!"
Cool Videos !
Let's say, the first thing that went through my head was "get out of here". And when I realized I was stuck there, the second thing that went through my head was that giant axe. :/
Second time around I already knew what was your idea, when I saw you were trying to get past him, the Door behind him, lol ! Didn't help much either !
But yeah, that guy is scary as hell ! Yeah, liked it ! Thanks, really always appreciate all the hard work you are going through to put on those videos..even die for us :)
hehe...
no wonder he is tough
