First 10 minutes Xbox 360

Today is a big day for Xbox Live Arcade lovers as Dust: An Elysian Tail is about to be released for 1200 Microsoft Points. Since we only got the game yesterday, we haven't had time to play much, but suffice to say it is a very promising title. First and foremost, it looks great and the gameplay mechanics are a lot of fun. Here are a first batch of videos showing the first 20 minutes of the adventure. More will follow as soon as possible for those who need to see more before making up their mind.

Ok so i thought this looked cool earlier, then i saw the intro thing. What a giant pos. The gameplay better be absolutely amazing :P

lol, story. super metroid is the best 2d adventure game ever made, bc you have a awesome story. go play heavy rain or rent the dvd.

It really isn't that bad at all. No doubt alot of people will hate it just because it's too soft, and doesn't embrace the gritty, dark or "badass" aesthetic that alot of gamers gush over.

When I played this back at PAX briefly I wasn't very thrilled about it.
It does look gorgeous though, and it's impressive it's just made by one dude

Got the game, played it for 1,5hrs and wow I LOVE it. It makes me feel like being kid playing some oldskool genesis platofrmers. Its beautiful, charming, smooth and so much fun to play. LOVE IT.

It looks fine, great actually, the story is just shite and the dialogue is awkward.

Not really but this seems to be a lot more story driven than a few VS matches in Tekken.

Played the demo a few times now and the combat had me a bit bored. Obviously it builds up into more but i can happily live without this one
