The Playstation Vita's release is getting closer by the minute and Gamersyde has not finished covering the launch titles yet. Today, we suggest you take a few minutes of your time to take a look at a downloadable game which will be available as Wednesday at $14.99 (and apparently €12.99 in Europe): Escape Plan. Fun Bits' creation is a subtle mix between Lemmings and Limbo, which makes it all the more interesting. Using mostly classical music in its soundtrack, the atmosphere of the game is quite peculiar to say the least. The touchscreen and touchpad are your only way of interacting with Lil and Laarg and I must say this adds a lot to the relationship between the player and the two creatures.

What exactly is it with all the Ipad or Iphone grief? I think they're fantastic and allow you to jump into an experience very quickly- that usually being the point right. I'm right on 360 playing Bayonetta or something if i want something with a bit more meat but there is definitely something very satisfying about Ipad. I remember back when the VCS ruled and games were indeed for the most this casual quick experiences like Ipad offers. There's room for both types surely

Also, as simple and "casual" many IOS games maybe, you have to appreciate some of the ideas that come from some developers and how they work around the limitations. Sure they don't always pull it off but you do have to sometimes give them credit. But hey that is the beauty of the Vita, it will be able to bring in the best of both worlds, the ingenuity of IOS/Android titles and the precise nature of modern console gaming and without so much of the hardware limitations when it comes down to graphical tech, gameplay innovations and the quantity of content in games. That amongst many reasons is why the Vita should be one the most exciting portable systems to any gamer and if what they've shown is capable at launch, it can only get much better later on in the products life cycle.
What's the point of tapping play before every room as well? Is it supposed to make the load times between such tiny spaces more acceptable?
