Video PC Xbox 360 PS3

As promised, we can now show you some gameplay footage of both console versions of F1 2011. It should help illustrate what we said about the game in our review this week. Unfortunately, not much has changed in the technical department on PS3. If you own both systems, you would be well advised to choose the 360 version as there are fewer aliasing issues, a better framerate and more vivid colors overall. We captured all the videos in HDMI so it has nothing to do with the way we proceeded. I used the Fanatec wheel on all videos, except for the one in Dabu Dhabi where I used a standard controller. On the 360 videos, the AI is set on Legend whereas I chose the Professional difficulty setting for the PS3 footage. All driving assists are set to off.

Hmm i'd no doubt be very interested in this, but iv'e never really enjoyed this style of racer. Looking at the cockpit view though, F1 seems a much tighter racing experience than other types like PG or Forza. Incredible braking and tyres seems what seperates the two racing types perhaps? with F1 cars tending to stick on the road- none of the fuss i guess is what i'm saying

Hmm maybe i should try getting into F1 racers then, because i like the sound of that different tighter focus

Are F1 racers an entirely a different thing then would people say?

Just one little tiny problem that I have with them, it's the driver(I'm guessing Driftwood) has the habit of starting a turn in the middle of the road which gets the whole turn wrong. I have noticed that in the Shift 2 videos some months ago as well.

Don't take this the wrong way, it's criticism on your driving not the video uploading(which is great and I'm thankful) ;)

Thanks for the vids, there were some turns where I was thinking, "why didn't he go flat out!!!???" lol. Driving doesn't *look* very hard at all, although it does look to be unforgiving on not hitting apexes which is good.

EDIT: Replays look retarded.

Seen some comparision between 2010 and 2011. This year game looks little better but still they could have done better

Seriously this has to be one of the worst coded games there is, i have this on PC and it runs poorly. The overhead of Directx is a fking joke and needs getting rid of.
