If you were disappointed by the cancellation of Silent Hills, stop what you're doing and check out our videos of Layers of Fear. It is indeed very reminiscent of what P.T was and we mean it in the best possible way. Visually, the game running on Unity 5 looks quite stunning even at this stage, and the experience it offers is one to remember. That is why we strongly advise you give it a chance, even if it's only available in Early Access. For barely $10/€10, you'll get more from the game than from many finished titles. We can't wait to see what the talented developers behind it will add in the months to come.

Man that was awesome looks really good Unity 5 is sexy. I wish RE would go back to these sort of roots and make a new game with some of this style it be real cool.

It´s difficult, when the fear mostly comes from darkness and places, where You can´t tell if there is something watching You or not.

BioShock 1 & 2 did a pretty awesome job, I know its quite like this but still. But yeah I know what you mean its true.

I would say RE4, 5 and the original silent hill, but those games also change time. They start out bright and then begin to go dark. RE 5 though is like 65 percent day time.

This game knows how to induce fear. What terrifies me most is that there might not be an option to switch off the superugly chromatic aberration.
