LittleBigPlanet Karting was the promise of the perfect combination between ModNation Racers and the LittleBigPlanet franchise. Released this week, the game fails to deliver the amount of fun people have come to expect from a Mario Kart-like, mainly because of a lack of balance between the different power-ups and also a clear lack of speed. The creation tool is still very promising as we can count on the community to bring new content in the months to come, but will it be enough to keep players interested in the long run? In the end, the game seems pretty average, which is quite disappointing considering how great it could have been. Frustrating when playing solo (AI will give you a hard time shooting you down repeatedly, making victory rely on chance mostly), United Nation Games' title is clearly destined to multiplayer mayhem.

As for LBP Karting...what a waste considering how good LBP platform games were! :(
